Hybrid captives that provide coverage for traditional insurance coverage (workers compensation, auto, property, general liability, etc.), medical stop loss, and/or enterprise risk coverages can provide tremendous advantages for many captive owners. This session will examine the development and operation of a hybrid captive from the perspective of both a captive manager and an actuary. Case study examples will be presented.

Learning Objectives:
1. Demonstrate the advantages of hybrid captives that provide a diverse variety of insurance coverages.
2. Present pricing approaches used for hybrid captives as well as pro forma financial results.
3. Discuss challenges presented by hybrid captives and potential solutions.
